For this project, I designed brand guidelines for a ficional client (Betty Belts) that clearly defines the rules around usage of logo and brand through many media channels.
I began with gathering my research and information about the client to create brand guidelines and perfectly resemble the brand's character. For the research, I have gathered information such as brand introduction, brand values, mission, and brand positioning. After gathering research, I began with designing appropriate layout and colour palette for the brand guidelines that aligns with brand's feel and aesthetic. Lastly, designing a front cover with brand name and logo, and back cover with address and contact information.
The Betty Belts Brand Guidelines include:
The brand logo (primary/master including colours),
Brand colour palette (CMYK, Hexadecimal, RGB, Pantone),
Official typography selections with type usage (headline, subheading, body copy),
Overview of primary font including explanation of how it's used (what weights and where),
Overview of secondary font including explanation of how it's used (ie what weights and where),
Examples of photography representing for the brand and the brand's character,
Applications (all brand collateral designs).
